Deep Tissue Massage
With applied and sustained pressure, slow deep strokes target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissue.
Deep tissue massage helps break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduces tension in muscles and tissue.
It’s not always necessary to have an injury in order to enjoy a deep tissue massage. Some people simply like having more pressure. Deep tissue massage helps treat muscle pain and stiffness, but can also help you unwind mentally.
swedish massage
Swedish massage is a gentle and soothing technique that uses long gliding strokes to induce relaxation and reduce discomfort. The benefits of Swedish massage include stress reduction, pain management, and improved circulation.
Research has indicated that Swedish massage can be beneficial in helping individuals address deep muscle tension and knots through the use of effleurage and petrissage techniques. The soft strokes in Swedish massage aim to reduce surface tension and promote circulation in the muscles, ultimately helping to relieve stress, soothe your soul and de-stress your mind.
prenatal Massage
Whether you’re a first time mom or have been through this beautiful journey before, prenatal massage is a wonderful opportunity to help your body rejuvenate.
Prenatal massage relaxes tense muscles, improves circulation, melts away pregnancy aches, reduces swelling and feels really good for a mama-to-be.
craniosacral therapy
Craniosacral therapy, or cranial sacral therapy (CST), is a gentle and hands-on treatment that may provide relief from headaches, neck and back pain, and help ease the side effects of cancer treatments, whiplash, sciatica, concussions and more.
CST focuses on the light placement of hands to help release tension in your body’s connective tissue. This is known as “fascia” (pronounced “fash-ee-uh”). Fascia is the Latin word for band. It’s a thin casing of connective tissue throughout your body that holds your organs, glands, nerves, muscles, blood vessels, brain and spinal cord.
reflexology
Reflexology involves placing gentle pressure on specific points along your feet that stimulate the complex neural pathways linking body systems, supporting the body’s efforts to function optimally.
